Our goal
Our founder and CEO, Jon von Tetzchner, was developing browsers back when most people hadn't even heard of the Internet. We believe in self-organization and collaboration across departments and projects. However, we don't do this alone. We work closely with a supportive community of volunteers worldwide who assist us in testing, translating, and promoting the browser.

The employees themselves own Viva, and we have no intention of changing that.
The absence of external investors grants us the freedom to listen to our users and collaboratively create the browser they anticipate from us. We welcome every idea with enthusiasm.
